Style book #19: Annie Faivre x Blue Paisley Shirt

The paisley design is Persian origin, which was inspired by the cypress, palm leaves, the pine cone, etc... As cypress and palm are ever green, they were venerated as Tree of Life around the world, while the pine cone was a symbol of fertility.

These rich vegetable motifs go perfectly with Annie Faivre’s exotic squares, composed by the accumulation of meticulous details.

Such a beautiful blouse, Iris, and pairing it with the orange LCaA is exceptionally striking. Lucky you, you have such a tiny waist! :-)

    1. Thank you for your compliment Cynthia :-)
When I bought this tomato-orange pants, it was a bold choice for me. But finally, it’s almost becoming my uniform. I found wearing a bright color in summer doubles the pleasure of the hot season!

Oh, I like your tomato-orange pants, Iris! They are quite summery. I'm on the lookout for turquoise jeans and also a pair of white jeans as well. The white, as you know, worries me, but after seeing so many of your fabulous looks wearing white pants, I know that I need a pair myself!

    3. Thank you for your message Cynthia! Did you find your turquoise jeans? I’m sure this summer which features so many vitamin colors is the best season to find it. Good luck!

  2. Stunning pattern mixing, Iris. If there is a gold medal for looks, I would award it to the last outfit.

For me, the queen of pattern mixing is you. I can’t forget your wonderful pics of Tour de clés shawl x reddish blouse or Tendresse Féline x gray&black dress.
