Style book #15: Au Fil du Carré (Bleu/Canard/VieilOr)

夏色といえば、ブルーとゴールド。青い空、海、太陽のきらめきをまとうかのような華やぎ。

Quelle couleur est estivale pour vous ? Pour moi, c’est le bleu et l’or. Le bleu rappelle le ciel et la mer, et l’or, le scintillement du soleil...

Which color is summery for you? For me, it is blue and gold. Blue reminds me the sea and sky, and gold, a sparkle of sunshine...

    What lovely summery looks! The hue of turquoise is very summery indeed. I also like blue and white for summer and it never seems to go out of fashion.

    Bravo pour vos looks. J'aime tout particulièrement le dernier : je trouve la robe parfaite avec le foulard, ils sont faits pour aller ensemble, chacun accentuant la beauté de l'autre. J'imagine la tenue portée le soir en été après une chaude journée... Elle me fait penser au film La Piscine avec Romy Schneider et Alain Delon.

    Very beautiful summery looks, Iris. You have a very trained eye for pulling colors from the scarf and knowing how to coordinate them in such a fresh way with your clothes. The aqua top in the first photo definitely reads beautiful summer day. :-)

      Hi Cynthia! Thanks to you! Indeed, I love to pull one or two colors with my outfits… And most of the time, if there is a color contrast between my scarf and clothes, the ensemble becomes better for me. AS H scarfs are so beautiful, they make us train our eyes, don’t they? ;-)

      Bonjour Pierre,
      Grand MERCI à vous! Quand j’ai acquis ce carré l’été dernier, j’imaginais le porter avec le blanc. Mais, les couleurs étaient trop lourdes pour cela, et ça n’a pas marché. Après un an d’intervalle, j’ai redécouvert ce carré qui a enfin reçu une appréciation légitime, et qui est enfin devenu un carré d’été !
