Style book #21: Carrés x Balcon du Guadalquivir

The Guadalquivir is a river which runs through the Spanish Andalusia. On its both sides, extend beautiful residences whose facades are adorned with wrought iron balconies. Inspired by this landscape reflected on the surface of the rippling water, Hermes created a great table service named "Balcon du Guadalquivir". The design is very stylish and modern. Four colors are available: gold, silver, intense black and vivid red. The house also added bracelets and pendants to this series.

'Voyage en Étoffes'
'Astrologie Nouvelle'
'Les Clés'
'Jungle Love'
'Trésors Retrouvés'

  1. This is stunning and the design is a modern classic. I am too clumsy to consider the pendant but am very happy to admore it on you. I will have to stick to the bangles.

PS: If you make it the V&A in London, you'll find a very impressive selection of forged iron exhibits, complete gates and Spanish balconies included.

    1. Thank you for your kind message Bienchen! Interesting. For me, pendants are easier to wear than bangles… (That’s why I have any bangles…). And thank you for V&A information. I should surely visit there someday!

Great looks, Iris! You're wearing your new Astrologie Nouvelle! I'm planning on buying cw 03. I ties so beautifully, doesn't it! When you wear yours, as shown in photos one and two, do you secure the ends with a scarf ring, or a knot?
I love the design on your pendant. If H made their enamels in clic-clac style in addition to the bangle, I would own this design with at least one bracelet. It's gorgeous, just like your pendant.

    1. Thanks to you Cynthia! And I’m very happy to know you’re planning to buy cw 03 of Astrologie Nouvelle! Because, that is the cw I really really want to get for the next… As you say, it ties so beautifully and the colors are so unusual! (I love also mysterious and dramatic cw 01. But I wonder maybe it is too strong for me…) To answer your question, I secure with a scarf ring for photo no.1 to minimize bulk but with a knot for no.2.
Balcon in clic-clac style? Wow, that should be very gorgeous! You have to sell your idea to H!

    1. Oh, Cynthia, congratulations for your new AN ! What a coincidence! As you say, its colors are particularly gorgeous and exceptional. And the movement of colors… just one word, BEAUTIFUL. But…, I returned mine today, because it was a defective product… And my shop didn’t have actually another cw 03. I was so disappointed and I came back empty-handed. Anyway, I’m absolutely happy for you!!!!!
